«  A Gypsy fortune to cheap! »

Published on 09/09/12 at 06:54
Channel lumberjack compared to electric I also, and compared to my Takamine folk, but playable.
In fact, I bought it secondhand, almost given a cashqqchose, and it had been cobbled together with a small piece of wood under the bridge, up to the action so that string frisent.D ' where less easy game sensation, that's for sure!
No original microphone, but I glued a small piezo on the table and it sounds good in amplified.
I discovered through the review below can adjust the handle by in the mouth, it would probably be a relevant alternative to the block to prevent string curl.

UTILIZATION

Channel: see above. Ergonomics: OK, is well in hand sitting or standing with a stool, or a strap. Access to treble: quite easy thanks to the cutaway, which is more elegant and gives a beautiful look to the guitar.
Good sound: yes, so much so that the first time I got it, I abandoned the Takamine, the Strato and other spontaneously to play it, even without any particular reason, just to relax after work, for example .

SOUNDS

It is especially made for the gypsy, somewhat support, moreover, to be sure, and yet we can try other things, it has an interesting sound. I have not tried the sacrilege of bottleneck, but in electroacoustics, we must equalize for a particular type of sound to accompany songs and such, it also defends.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year, I looked and tried similar guitars in a gypsy who made the markets, and it was far from being given. In luthiers corner (Mirecourt in the Vosges), there were also such but, far from being data. I had almost given up when I stumbled upon a CASHXXXX, resulted in 50% of the marked price which was already well below the retail price: in fact, € 120. Of course, no pick, strap, carrying cases or string parts for that price, but hey, we all have it at home.
It is engaging and easy to get out of fine sounds (I think), but when it becomes more difficult technique.
Value: unbeatable for me, I think having bought a third of its value.
With experience, I would not miss this opportunity if I fell over!
