Emmaus purchased two days ago. unfamiliar with this brand I thought that given the quality of finish, solid feel of knobs and buttons, the number of I / O, I could take the risk to pay the 30 euros posted for this product !
what a nice surprise when I plugged in: a warm, well defined bass, harmonic distortion without a treat.
obviously my first reflex was to come and see if the brand of the device was on my favorite site to find out what that thought my cyber-colleagues: 2 kisskool effect! j'immaginait viel not a machine like this one could still side so high! and I saw me as I came across a vintage tool that should follow me for a few years of listening pleasure.
Well, I stop the blabla (I does not support in general!) and I made a description of the Corny:
front:
- Headphones
- Speaker selector A / B: A + B / off
- Selector "speaker EQ" 45 / off / 70 (I do not comrend What's the point: at least 45 low but the sound goes majoritée on one side and 70 on the bass are present but much too high in my opinion )
- Adjustable low
- Acute setting (no media, but frankly I do not touch even more so those two sound is well defined)
- Button infra-sonic (like: What's the point? The sound does not seem to be modified)
- Single button
- Button low level (lower gain entry?. I see not too useful since it takes up the volume to compensate! A more functional kind of mute perhaps?)
- Loundness button (a true loudness that does not distort the sound excessive and can give the boost and the image brightness on the old vinyl records for example)
- Rec-selector to / tuner / phono / tape 1 / 2 tape
- A phono imput-selector / 2 phono / tuner / aux / tape 1 / 2 tape
- Volume knob / balance
- VU meter that displays only the power output in watts (so do not take it especially for the 2 ° step déjas the wall that I tremble!)
Rear:
input / output (while RCA):
- LAB in / preamp out in normal and connected by jumper (for the bridge, but I understand nothing!)
- Tape 1 play / rec CAR and / or DIN
- 2 tape play / rec
- In the
- In tuner
- Phono 1
- 2 phono
- A and B speaker outputs (or 4) on pin standard.
selectors: Soft clipping (clipping) and SLC (I do not know what it was used and it does not seem modiffier sound)
that's it. a very good amp built for the pleasure of the listener. merit of good speakers.
