To clarify I am a fully independent audiophile especially because on other forums the designer of these fabulous amps was downright "sent down" for the way he presented his amps. Having said that's 18 months that I have an amp PSS Audio Studio B and I am totally satisfied, because first of all it is a different look, its connections are made pro Speakon and XLR (quality) and the sound that comes out of her womb is well worth the major brands of appliances for HIFI priced 3-4 times higher, but perhaps with a more modern look that's for sure. A word to salvation ...
Before buying it I compared it to Plinius 9100 and 9200, and after having bought a
Audio Research (I do not remember the exact top model), only the latter exceeded the low frequency but for the other registers transparency and dynamics of Studio B placing it in front.
My Studio B works with a DIY tube preamp in the diagram of Conrad Johnson Act + and my CD is the Hartley Platinum Series 100 and my HP kit at Focal (700.
Given the price (less than € 1500) and for those who wish to invest long term (10 year guarantee) in a powerful amp (2x150W), with an enormous power and reserve power and delivering a sound quality I doubt urge .
Important: you should let it live 24/24, potentiometers to zero.
FYI the photo that appears on the other model of the post Studio A with a notice of Algoape, is the Studio Studio B and not A (2x75W) dual mono as Studio B.
