I used this headset for half a score of years.
In fact, I bought it in 1995.
I find the sound of this headset very balanced, with good bass frank and deep, very clear midrange and airy highs and finally very own that are not garish.
Be careful though with long use at a high level, the sound a little tired in the long ears. But for home use, no worries.

Comfort is very acceptable, it is not in the head and is relatively light and not tiring in the long run, since it is located well on the ears.

As the previous user, I had problems with leatherette ear of which are open and disintegrated over time.
It is very unpleasant, since they are losing pieces of it all sticky leatherette, foam becomes apparent and the atria are less impervious to outside noise.
In short, I tried to replace them.
Well, Sony does not make replacement parts for this range of headphones. headphone worth 690 francs at the time.
Then suddenly, I had to change the headphone ...
Too bad because I liked him!

For now, it's the headphone that holds the longevity record at home.
