I possde these speakers for about 1 year, and I am more than satisfied !! This is my first step in the CD, before i was on 2.1 PC kits not great ...
These speakers are very linear, forward on the music I could see stronger notes of others, too frequencies put forward, the rsonances ... The entire sound spectrum is held !dropoff window
So as a strong point very neutral speaker (hence the name "Monitor" I guess).
In the lower least I can say because it depends normment of the room and placement. Anyway, for their size, even when they are a little low. I'm a bit skeptical about the "@ 45Hz -4dB" announced by Eltax, but hey you can not complain given the price (149 new, 99 during the promotion of periods at Son-Video).
I use it to compose, and objectively they must indeed be quite imbalances because all cres music by other composers colleagues sounded very well with me.
- What is the particular feature you like best and least?
most: their balance, their nice look, qualitprix report, the wind beneath which facilitates placement
least: acute maybe a little too crystalline (it's nitpicking)
- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
no no, I entirely trust the advices!
- How do you report qualitprix?
unbeatable. I later had the opportunity to listen to the small stereo speakers and low-end monitors, in the 300 and the choice is easy: I stay with my Eltax ^^
