Published on 08/28/12 at 04:58I use them for 3 years, and I do not intend to separate. I had the opportunity to own or test many "big JBL", L150, L 220, 250 ti, 4343, 4430, 4435, 4350 and I came to a compromise with the quite extraordinary 4730. (Weight / price / size)
The speakers are initially "high power" so PA but have nothing to envy models more "studio" or HIFI. On the AC side grows very strong, and the other is a high precision, not aggressive, medium / acute is simply amazing, thanks in large part to the fabulous 2118 relayed by the small pair buttocks in the upper part. It dissects without damaging the voices are superb and breathtaking dynamics. In contrast, where there is better way to do this is serious. The Hp is very good but the circular vents are too big, you must either extend or reduce the tubes two orifices. As for the filter, put the same components but better does not hurt to change cables.
Hp serious attention to the polarities are reversed, it is normal for JBL.
The value for money is exceptional, the finish of the enclosure and its strength are amazing. (Simply remove the hp realize) The body is super stiff, a little less than 50 kg but with side handles making transportation very easy.
No regrets, I would do this choice if need be! The problem is that they are rare but it is really worth looking.
