I just bought a pair of L96.
A very good model, clarity, beautiful image well balanced, high dynamics and especially severe truly exceptional.
A beautiful pair of speakers used hi fi, anything goes, from rock to jazz.
They seem relatively easy to more power (relatively) good amp with current and AC drives.
They resemble a little of 4311, with a little extra shine and shimmering in the top.
In summary, an excellent choice in the range JBL!
