The sound is perfect, both in the high precise, smooth in the mids, and super powerful / deep / tight in the bass. Everything you expect from a high-end loudspeaker!
And I would add that they have an incredible fishing, even with a small amp provided it supports 4 ohms! Natural speed and incredible!
Even very high end, given that memory, they still were worth 15,000 francs in 1987 (the pair or the play, I forget).
In almost all speakers of that time I have heard, these are the ones who gave me the most pleasure. I tested quite a vintage renowned speakers, including Jean Marie Reynaud (Sonata, Duo ...), Cabasse (Yawl, Dinghy, Sampan heavy), Elipson (balls), Triangle (Lyrr) and so on ...
The value for money? Here, we do not talk about value for money ... It's very upscale, so a bit elitist.
Reluctantly sold for lack of space due to move. I know I'll never find a pair with all original speakers (like mine ... anything), too rare, and most importantly, abused or modified too (beware hp which are very rare and often been changed. Real are hp cone tpx, audax, tx20x25rsn!).
