22-frets-Neck
-2 Duncan Designed HB-103
Bridge-type Tune-O-Matic
-2 Volume knobs and tone
Switch-3 Position
I put him 8 / 10, as was a Bigsby would be welcome! I am thinking to install one by little else.
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice and are accessed easily treble. The ergonomics are very good, despite being a bit heavy.
It is fairly well agreed. I think changing the mechanical occasionally for more details.
I put my 9 / 10 because it is not perfect, but I would not find her real defects.
SOUNDS
The bridge pickup is average without much personality. It's not that bad either, but it lacks some precision in the clear sounds. But with a popping sound he speaks much better. It has a lot of potatoes.
Cons by the neck pickup is really excellent. Surprising for a Duncan Designed. Very round, very warm, perfect for the Blues.
The middle position has no real interest, because the 2 microphones are very different.
This guitar is very comfortable in a register Blues / Rock, but definitely not Metal.
I put him 8 / 10, because the bridge pickup needs to be changed over time.
OVERALL OPINION
I played for 2 years and I can not get enough. I love this style half body type ES335. LOVE finish reminiscent of the Union Jack Epiphone Supernova (which is virtually impossible to find today!). It is cut out for this punk guitar. In any case it's the use I made with my group. One thing is sure is that I'm never part.
I who was looking for an Epiphone Supernova désespérémant, I did not hesitate for long when I saw it on display. So what choice I will ever be a thousand times without hesitation!
With a Bigsby and a pair of P-90 Gibson, this guitar is my dream.
