Best value:
Excellent
characteristics are always the same, see other posts
Note that I base all my critics, taking into account the price which is even less than half (third?) A price maker or brand renowned jazz guitar.
UTILIZATION
Nothing to say about the handle, the grip is very simple.
I never got tired playing it, at home, in concert with beef for 3 hours, no problem, the guitar "behave" well and does not clutter the guitarist.
My guitar is perhaps a bit incorrectly set, the strings a little curl in the treble but I did nothing to change that, with the strings low enough comfort and just not attack like a pig from the 12th box to avoid bed. It does play jazz on this guitar so soft!
Regarding the finish, well ... difficult to find better or similar to that price. A luthier friend, casting an eye on the AF125 even told me that it hurt to see it at this price so low. I try not to talk to him about the coup ...
SOUNDS
I was looking for a gibson type guitar as I listen jazzman. Most of the time are 175. At the same time I wanted to avoid spending a fortune on a guitar just to have a bit of a legend in his hands and finally a heavy instrument and a little over evil (that's my feeling on gibson although I love these guitars ).
Anyway, I tried the Ibanez 125 on a misunderstanding (y 'was one in the store and I know not) and I took quite a smack! Not easy to define the sound by writing, I let you go try it yourself, but I can tell you that it sounds wickedly jazz. I kept all the original equipment (hardware, micro, electronics). I use only the microphone neck. I have no opinion on the micro bridge. I do not like the sound of microphones treble (that's farting my fillings!).
90% of what I want is there (the heat, the whole "smooth" jazz guitar), the remaining 10% are often the fingers of the guitarist playing, the amp, etc. ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for over a year.
No qualms about playing on a guitar series in this genre, especially as the price comes quickly to forget that China is a skyscraper.
It comes with case and wooden bridge replacement (the original was metal).
To me this is the best value we can find on the market.
I lug around everywhere without too afraid to put chips in contrast to a guitar luthier (the price again!)
The only problem with mine is the amber-orange paint ugly. I recommend the sunburst or natural tones that pass over unnoticed.
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
no problem. I even saw IBAN had released the AG 75 that I find even better (look at) but that sounds probably less since it is still less than half my AF 125. I feel my ...
