Value For Money :
Excellent
Jazz guitar style semi-hollow (thickness 70mm) made in China - a Florentine cutaway dcoupe - multi table pica - Channel type Artcore al (?) - Key pseudo-Rosewood - Frets Medium - wooden floating bridge, the base is mahogany and rosewood part suprieure (vritable) - 2 humbuckers - a slecteur 3 positions - 4 potentiomtres, 2 volume and 2 tone - Color: Brown DGRAD functional trs (violin sunburst?).
The look as well got a case of sr, one can say that the cosmtique the guitar is nearly perfect, finishing as the smallest dtails impeccable. The hardware (given the price) is acceptable trs. The mcaniques are a by-product of the brand Gotoh nanmoins prcises and effective, the tailpiece VT100 plutt enjoyable RALIS the eye is in an alloy "doubtful", the microphones are trs of ordinary quality. For potentiomtres, it will see in time, but new, they "crachottent" no. The slecteur is a little hard and noisy.
UTILIZATION
I bought this guitar primarily for "doing lines" without the plug into an amplifier. The grip is trs enjoyable and APRS have rgl action, the left hand is playing boards. Access in acute as some dlicat but this kind of guitar is not for a. It is regrettable that the choice of nut from my point of view is not good. Indeed, the neck at nut is 43mm and the map of strings (between axes) this level is 35mm which means that the strings are too close together. For comparison, a Gibson Les Paul "1960 reissue" (strait handle) values are 42mm and 36mm on a Les Paul Custom, 43mm and 36mm on a 43mm Godin LG and 37.5 mm and a Fender Stratocaster 42mm and 36mm.
SOUNDS
No branch of the guitar has a good projection, the table pica is fairly well Ractive and restores the attack mdiator. This is exactly my expectation.
Branch with the original pickups, I have no comment to make except that it is desirable to a good pair of microphones (the guitar MRIT really) and plug it into a amp ... lamps.
OVERALL OPINION
I have prciser that this guitar is the 2nd I possde AK86. The 1st was a "flaw": the neck, the pickups and tailpiece but dcentrs taient perfectly aligned on the body with a dport of 11mm at the strap button from the axis of the body. This may mean that the handle n'tait not paste into the shaft and the rest (pickups and tailpiece) t was aligned on the handle. The 2nd round is al well in the axis of the body, the pickups well aligned with the handle but this time it's the tailpiece which is not aligned on the handle and microphones . the dport is 4mm (only), and I corrected that little term problem that has no vritable affect the "operation" of the guitar.
My feeling is that the workers who produce these guitars in China do not really understand what they are doing in terms of violin making, but on the other ct connate when the price (an hour's justification workforce to have a luthier must know what you want and do not believe in miracles too.
In conclusion, stay on the ide that this guitar has an excellent quality-price.
