UTILIZATION

I know that any opinion is always subjective, but here I try to be as objective as possible!

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;"> </span>

<ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;">

<li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> The handle is it nice?

</ul>

For me the neck is super nice, a real quality violin! I find it particularly pleasant between 5 and 12 frets. Of course it&#39;s a guitar "Jazz" which is not intended to Vai shredders and other potentially. It is a little wider than my Start.

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Access to acute (last string) Is it easy?</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span>
Access to the treble is fairly easy it is slightly shifted his left hand the handle from the 16th or 17th fret, nothing really bad.

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span>
ES is a form with double canted slightly sharper and less imposing than the original model from Gibson. (My opinion here is completely subjective, but I find the Ibanez models much more aesthetic than the Gibsons for that one detail!) She plays both sitting (as ideal) and standing (fairly mild).

<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span> Do you get a good sound easy? ...</strong>

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">
</span> It sounds pretty good vacuum, I played six months without an amp in my apartment and it was going to repeat!

SOUNDS

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Are they suitable for your style of music?</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span>
This guitar is pretty versatile, I bought when I was studying jazz, I would have preferred an AS200, but hard to find and then the price ... always the price! Either it was perfect in this style. I have since reformed a group with multiple influences and diverse, Zappa, King Crimson, Tool, Mr. Bungle, ... I play more and more with this guitar sounds for rock (I would not go down to the metal!) And again it should be fine.

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">With what (s) amplifier (s) or effect (s) do you play?</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span>
In my apartment I plugged into a small 5W tube combo Fame (Low Quality) in group I branch on a mesa / boogie DC-10 100W all-tube, obviously it sounds much better on the boogie, surprising. The guitar has a sound quite neutral and as pointed IGDAS lack a bit of character, its own identity! The microphones are very correct origins but it&#39;s true that I would one day change for a guitar stronger character! I use it mostly with 3 effects namely a Big Muff, a Cry Baby and a Boss Flanger.
<strong>
<span style="white-space: pre;"><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span> What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?</strong>

The sounds that I prefer are those obtained on the clean channel with the big muff triggered via a slight flanger and wah used as a filter. I get a Zappa-influenced sound amazing!

For the rest I avoid the effects and use in general that the two channels of the amp.

OVERALL OPINION

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span>
I use it for 1 year.
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">What thing do you like most/least about it?</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> The pros: <span style="white-space: pre;"><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span> super finishing the violin, it looks very classy, a real gem!
<span style="white-space: pre;"><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span> very nice sleeve
<span style="white-space: pre;"><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span> the price (even new)

The -: <span style="white-space: pre;"><span style="white-space: pre;"> </span></span> Perhaps the lack of character, this is not my priority but I would one day replace the pickups *.

* Let me be clear, the quality of the microphones is very good that one does not say: "Good scratch when changing pickup!" They just lack of character for my taste!
<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Did you try many other models before getting this one?</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> </ul> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span> <span style="font-weight: normal;">I tried a JSL100 John Scofield (reissue of AS-200 guitarist, great guitar but 2000 €, one day maybe ...), an Epiphone Sheraton or Casino (I forget) and an Ibanez AS -73. In fact I found the SA-73 really impressive compared to the Epiphone (I&#39;m not saying that the Epiphone is a bad guitar at all, but I was really surprised by the SA-73) and the price was lower than 150 €. I greatly look for an AS-103 hand because I really like her look and I had a slight preference for the reputation of these models Ibanez Hollow and semi-hollow midrange (- € 1000) .

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span></span> <ul class="ul" style="margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; display: block; font-weight: bold; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span></span> <li style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 20px; width: 359px; float: left; padding: 0px;"> <span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">What is your opinion about the value for the price?</span></span> <span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span></span> </ul> <span style="font-weight: normal;"><span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">

</span>

Jusau&#39;à find one on AF for 400 €. Excellent condition, super nice seller and very available, a purchase as I do more often. At this price the price / quality ratio is excellent at 750 € (price Thomann) the quality / price ratio is positively good.
