« MA rve guitar ... »

Published on 12/08/11 at 08:46
MODEL its a product from the 70s (SA2000) which incorporates the dune SPECIFICATIONS Gibson ES-335 in amliorant the concept. So we have a semi-hollow beam with central body Flamm Saddle Mahogany 22 frets, touches bne, adopted wholesale pearl, pitch 24 3 / 4 "neck and body binding, Derri reinforcement re the head, two humbuckers (and split), 4 knobs (2 tone push / pull, 2 volumes), wide enough and flat frets, Tune-o-matic, plastic pick-guard.
Mine is fvrier 2011 (just before Fukushima!) Violin Sunburst and color (honey actually).

Everything is clean trs, trs the Japanese are strong All woods are fitted, no traces of glue, no wolf. Extreme precision. The bindings are superb and rguliers, the flame is beautiful, the varnish is applied trs end. T Nothing has been left to chance on the violin. Cest of great art. Ct fittings, all is well adjusted trs trs: TRS mic though poss, adjustable bridge to the hair, mechanical sensitive enough (may be a little weak on the view hard).

UTILIZATION

The handle is lnorme highlight of the guitar. The profile of the neck is thin enough, pretty standard and wide dune dun radius of 13.75 ". Cest near Gibson dun slim-tapper but thinner and faster. The feeling of gliding and Comfort is bluffing. Ntant not rev up, I am well on trs typs sleeves fender and much less on typs Gibson outside the slim-tapper. Lbne the key, laction, the frets, the binding of the handle, finish any contest comfort. Cest especially on this point that jai made my choice. Indeed, a sound is always correct, but s we must fight on linstrument or comfort the nest not pleased either (in the worst case a handle non-adapted morphology or type of game CRER little tendinitis). The frets as low laction is extremely low also RULES. It rises in t 12-50 Thomastik flat nets. Not a frieze, the rglage has t done at Guitar-Village. Cest the very first time I just make sweeping with 12-50 I think I will ascend above the 13 or 14, so cest easy.

SOUNDS

Well, I'll be prcis on this point: I do not play quen clear sound (a little crunch). I will therefore no description Retailer positions easel or split because I do not play. I only play jazz and the sound I'm looking for is approximately one Dadam Rogers (go on Youtube to give you an ide of the man).
Yam on the micro takes a serious law and the trs prcis but warm. Not enough wood to turn back Tone for a more dark. I find it fairly low in the overall imaging mdium. No normment Daiga, few medium high but not too low. A voice that trs enjoyable diffrent dune ES-175 that will be more medium and high spades. What strikes me cest the purity of sound, this righteousness. A note is a note and not another. The agreements dtachent trs really well.
The Tone knob of trs is progressive and efficient trs. You can spend the dark sound trs Martino a more acute kind Burrell. on the other hand, there will be no such acute typical ES-175 and compressing natural dune jazz-box. In my opinion, an amp would suit her perfectly lamps plutt quune transistor to compress the sound a bit. Its not a typical jazz sound (Wes), but cest trs DEFINITIONS a beautiful sound for jazz. With a big rverbe cest super springs.
Saturation on the bridge pickup, the grain is quite ar and less saturated fat dune mtal no feedback dplorer. In crunch, the sound is sublime on the micro serious. Submitted trs trs warm. The split positions are more but I find that the decrease in level as it creates a little lost lintrt. I havent adapted to the directory the positions of all the fawns so I remain cautious in my comments. I prfre far down the volume on the guitar or rhythm to refine the overall sound. The volume is dailleurs trs progressive and keeps all its acute up more than half of the race. I prcise I do not play a quavec to find my place in the group. Volume for comping 5-6, 8-9 for solos or even 10 when others exagrent ;-) In any case, the top cest. In crunch, it returns to its clear lgrement lowering the volume: the top. A clear / dark dun making RVer lamps amp worthy of the name

OVERALL OPINION

APRs have tried a number of guitars without any a priori, I can say that the quality-price ratio is pretty amazing. Find a dj or a semi-hollow with a touch bne in 1500, cest impossible. May be the DAngelico nen Excel but I've never tried. In addition, the made in Korea against the made in Japan Jai made my choice.
This silent guitar much more comfortable than any Gibsons that jai had in my hands (ES-335, ES-339, ES-137, ES-175) except custom MODELS (Lucille or Les Paul Custom). Gibson in 3000 or more we leave it there and so far all of TRS Ibanez excluding Japan The Scofield that I have never test is similar in design but score 700 or 800 more.
Incommensurate with The models in its price range, the only MODELS on which jai find a degree of finish and comfort are identical: Gibson Les Paul Custom, 3000 Lag Imperator, ESP Eclipse, Gibson Lucille, Ibanez GB10. Cest all. on the other hand, anything under 2300

Balance sheet
I really think you have found linstrument quil I needed in terms of comfort. I wanted plutt an ES-175 for its jazz but I glimpse over the trial that the form which suited me very silent the 335. It was a surprise to me, do the NCESS dessayer moult guitars! Then jai t really fix a key bne. This really not the same nest at the top of the touch EST. Then the candidates ntaient trs many more below 2000 it had quune ny! The day o jai tried Yam, jai t really VERY impressed. Jai tried a real ES-175 the next day and I said, tin, cest not possible, I prfre the Yam! I rve! . I do not speak well of sr, but the violin, the handle and comfort.
As they say on Harmony Central: if I am the stole, a jen Rasht in the second. Well Obviously, if I flew the one I macht Ibanez low end since jai waited three years before allowing me to cowardice.
