It is splitable, like its big brother the 89.
It is a very good mic, very precise, perfect for the lead and big beats, blues, metal.
For a liability, it does not go unnoticed: the output signal is strong, sustain and harmonics generous.
Very eclectic, bravo EMG
A reservation, however, extraneous noise that can occur at very high gain.
To listen on my myspace, the songs of distos "Console Me" are recorded in H and all the guitar parts of "Where Were you" who are splitées with this microphone. The guitar is plugged directly on my Rocktron Rampage.
