Published on 11/15/13 at 04:24I have the microwave for 5 years, tested eruption yds / ibanez artcore am73/sg lime / gigi lpstwb is all with set neck.
This micro behaves extremely well in split mode, sounds great strat but the slamming fuller warmer in the midrange.
I made the following experiment, removes all screw-studs and there's more, which means that only the reel handle side rings and the other serves only oter parasites. Just like a phantom coil, but all-in-one here!
Humbucker mode character is less chattering but not much, and the output level is higher.
This mic has a 5-pin connector below the other end of the wire is welding cons of switch / pots flight-tone. I would have preferred the former, because it can happen that mounting the connector apart and you're down, so as to assure with a piece of tape ...
Compared to micro I also very much like this oc1 emg to infinity in the Ibanez, and more round.
At 65 euros a very very good plan, do not hesitate!
