I use a pair mounted on an original Ibanez Studio 390 rw. These pickups, and split, are considered among the best Ibanez. At that time they were made by Maxon. They ensure a clean and especially distortion. Very good dynamic. In addition they were very vielli. The sounds are close to Di Marzio Super Distortion. Manufactured after the V2 are different and less well according to my sources.
