I own this mic on a guitar neck luthier Davids custom shop.
This is coupled with a micro PRS Dragon II splite in bridge.

I also experience a set Kami stratovolcano on an Ibanez roadstar 1984
that satisfies me.

For Blackrose, it's a great mic in its class but has the defects of its qualities:

Advantage:
It is clean.
For Clean and distortion lead it works great.
Clarity, precision sound even in large distortion: nothing in excess.
For jazz is also good, although I personally prefers a more classic 57 "roots"

Disadvantage:
It is clean.
So Blues and other dirty crunch, go your way because it will be too specific
cruncher for badly as we like.
Normal, we can not do a good thing and its opposite at the same time.
You just need to know before purchasing this Blackrose.
EDIT:
I have read information on the Pharaonic higher prices for pickups sylvain
(Like almost tripled)
I do not get into this controversy which allows no doubt be able to honor
orders without losing money.
I personally have had the chance to m 'buy one secondhand before. (100 euros)
Would I put twice?
Surely not.
But for other brands either ..
