Mounted on a Godin Exit 22 in the neck position, I use most often split single or coupled with the Bridge pickup Gibson "The Original" which also has wonderful getting married (I removed the microphone central)
Excellent mic, clear sound with distortion or effects, everything is restored, and that crispy crunch in the guitar breathe, the wood speaks poor original pickups were very bland in comparison.
I think a single coil would have only seen the use I make, but this one is split convincing, shiny, and the more it expands the sonic palette.
