hybrid lamp combo preamp / power transistors 40W.

the connection is simple
an instrument input
preamp output (PREAMP OUT)
an entry in the power (PWR AMP IN)
taking a footswitch to change channel

That's it!

settings:

Clean channel:
-Gain
2 band eq

Disto:
gain
contour
2 band eq
Volume

the level of reverb is not footswitchable 2-channel common

HP is a heavenly 12 '

UTILIZATION

the config is simple: you plug and play.
the manual is enough anecdotal findable on the site of Marshall
the sound is delivered .. Marshallian enough, but we hear about it all the time!

SOUNDS

The sound: rock style suits the ac / dc or prong (using the 100V)

the bright, pretty flat, as often with marshall.

the distortion is Marshallian enough fat and full of promises of low volume ...

the reverb is good politics
But once you turn up the volume (repeating 'So):

On a very clear sound volume, produces a kind of power transistor Cunche very ugly.
On the overdrive channel big noise in a "desert storm" (pshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh).

generally, the sound is quite loud and unpleasant.

OVERALL OPINION

I kept this "thing" for quite some time (almost 10 years), but because it was almost all the time down, it has not been widely used.
I was using only the power section (everything thoroughly so there is no master volume) with an external preamp
because otherwise it is the cross and the banner (of his cuts, etc..).

the knobs are Critch Critch of course, one is in marchemal!

Briefly, an amp with a nice logo to trick beginners (as I was when I bought it)
flattering the sound of low volume may still be used at home to work

For anything I do not buy a thing as zero.
