US manufacturing.

After two year of use, I just put on my Martin an LR Baggs Dual source system with two sensors, piezo and 2 micro mouse in the crate. Two knobs are available for mixing microphones and grate the volume. This system is very expensive in France (410 euros catalog + installation). I bought mine in the USA, new, and I have invested a total of 290 euros, includes installation, rglages handle and play new chords (Elexir 12-52).
So I have an acoustic electric.
Business detail I lower the sound reproduction.

USE

Before buying this model of Martin, I tried a bunch of guitars of the same brand, in a price range of course but accessible lev (around 1000 euros): D1, absolutely terrible, this one it m 'really took guts but my wallet was too lightweight this time the 000 GT 16, DM, ooo M - one notch below the ooo 1 D15 - too my mdium taste, D16 ...
This triple o 1 is cited as his sisters is striking! (A Martin remains a Martin!)

- Of course the sound qualities (see below) and the ease of the handle.

Ds we play, has been confirmed:
- A perfectly balanced bass sound prsentes without too much of mdiums that does not eat up other frequencies, treble that dtachent significantly.
- A handle ultra pleasant, slightly rounded, but not blow the pan n'tant access to the del douzime box is difficult.
- The body, rather small, enhances the maneuverability of the instrument.
- The mcaniques prcises a perfect view of the agreement - even a few minutes after having changed the strings, not to move!

SONORITS

In the fingers, it plays blues in arpges, bossa ... is gnial.
Mdiator to the folk sound is excellent. Top of the handle, the First position agreements serious sound!
A very versatile instrument acoustics, particulirement my destiny got to blues and folk dishes.
A guitar to record coronation: the sound is perfectly balanced in front a microphone (I use a Rode NT 1000), excellent rendering, needless to rqualiser the mix.
If we play very hard, to mdiator for example, power is really to go, compress the sound is balanced perfectly respect. By repeating, I just piped up a microphone in front of the guitar, the projection is phenomenal, impressive for a guitar that possde such a small box.

And the LR Baggs? Simply excellent, natural sound breathtaking, amplifies I confirm that Martin has incredible acoustic qualities! Everything is balanced beautiful, a true acoustic sound. I let my sono any dish, just a lightweight reverb. Sublime!

NOTICE GLOBAL

I possde this from martin bientt two years. After having tried many models really, my choice was stopping on the triple O-1.

A friend luthier argl Lately the handle and test the state of the frets. Everything is ok, only a small note could curl the 5 string box so - nothing nasty so well it holds up well over time. Besides my friend luthier t particulirement logieux the gard this 000!
I love the tuit Martin forms of the instrument.
If I have any advice to those who want a acqurir Martin, to try all of the models, to avoid the low end. I t unpleasantly surprised by a model DX-1! Sometimes even a martin a high price can dplaire in sound. (That ft my case for a D 16). Unlike electric, take time with acoustic impossible after changing the sound: it should sound ds the first shot mdiator.
PS: For as many Japanese and tried corennes often more chres, and although there's no picture.
For smaller budgets, to mention art and violin / super price quality ratio and we feel a strong guitar!
After several months, I confirm that this guitar is truly outstanding! For a little more than 1000 euros new, it's a great instrument without going into very upscale. I'll see how it will age.
A BMOL however: it is fragile, it quickly blows mark (may happen to bump his instrument against the uit, table ...). The slightest shock appears on the instrument. We must therefore be careful when handling but do not stress too much if small signs of aging appear, such a guitar should be live and play!

The Martin & Co. 000-1 is a jumbo size acoustic guitar. We have one of these at the studio where I work, and it's always getting played and used on records. The one that we have has a custom pick up inside of it, but the stock 000-1 guitars are just acoustic guitars without any pick ups. This guitar in particular was made in the mid 1990's, and I'm not sure exactly how long these guitars were made for in general.

UTILIZATION

The overall feel and playability of the Martin & Co. 000-1 is outstanding. It's got a really friendly and fluid feeling neck, as it's extremely easy to navigate up and down the neck, regardless of if you're playing rhythm acoustic or lead. The guitar is smaller and feels smaller than your traditional Martin dreadnought guitar, which is definitely something that I welcome. It's got the body you'd see with any jumbo guitar, but that doesn't mean that it's necessarily a big guitar...

SOUNDS

The tone of the Martin & Co. 000-1 is terrific overall. While it's a really full sound, it's also bright and vibrant. However, as you'll find with most jumbo sized acoustic guitars, the 000-1 has most of all a great sounding low and low mid end. In general it just sounds clean and in a word, professional. It differs in tone than other Martin guitars that I've played which are usually a bit brighter, but then again this is one my favorite Martin guitars. If you're looking for a really bright sounding acoustic this isn't going to be it, but it's perfect as a more well rounded sounding acoustic.

OVERALL OPINION

There isn't a bad thing that I could say about the Martin & Co. 000-1. It plays and sounds great and is in general an almost perfect acoustic guitar. I haven't heard the custom pick up in it however, as I've only played it acoustically to date. I don't know much about the availability of this guitar or if they are still making it, but the 000-1 is a must try for anyone looking to get a top tier acoustic guitar.
