The CRB is a Super X 100 cab to his corner. A rotary speaker that gives unique color to amplifications organ (or other instruments).
It has two speeds: slow, fast, controlled by a pedal with two switches: start of the effect and speed. In press again on the switch gear, we return to the slow speed.
2 channels Channel 1 sensitivity: 15 mv; Channel 2: 120 mv.
A volume control for each channel.
Double tone control "bass and treble."
Reverb (spring) on both channels with volume control. An optional footswitch allows start-up of the reverb from a distance.
Output Power: 50W officially, but I always felt it came out much more.
Dimensions: 570 x 370 x 800 mm.
Weight: unknown but substantial.
Two handles embedded in the upper sides of the camera, but no wheels to move easily, but possibly enough to buy and install.
UTILIZATION
The speaker is turning at the top of the cab. The lower part is occupied by a large fixed-HP only supports the "right". When the effect is turning into action, while the sound passes through the higher HP is smaller. It feels so having a power loss, which is reinforced by the fact that HP is running vertically from right to left or vice versa, I do not remember. In short, the sound is sent "up" and out through vents placed on three sides and above the cab. The real Leslie send audio "horizontally", but it's not a Leslie, a CRB is: you do not play in the same court, and this is not the same price.
OVERALL OPINION
Must have for thirty years. She never broke down. The construction of the time: it's solid. She never flinched when I gave him a bass to be amplified, and the effect was very nice when it's a guitar that was going through. But still, it served mainly to boost my Farfisa and my Jen Superstrings, and always without fail. Weight allowed me to do a bit of muscle at low cost. I no longer uses on stage: too bulky, too heavy, too. We have solutions lighter these days and just as effective if not more.
