The Korby Kat4 is a micro tube of high quality trs. The particularity of this wish in the micro capsules that are interchangeable during the session. No need of any dye, as the tube in the body of the microphone. The Kat 4 comes with a reproduction of microphones trsrussie legends such as the AKG C12, the Elam Telefunken 251, Neumann U47 and U67. Should therefore be any type of situation where the quality of the sound is important.
OVERALL OPINION
I use to mic for 3 months and I had the possibility to run tests with voices ranging from gospel to diffrent jazz to rap and instruments for classical music.
I made comparisons between diffrent capsules and a neumann M149, u89ai and BPM TB-95 passing in pramplis Neve and Telefunken. (Which could rvell it's not because a microphone is CHRE that is best suited to the source, as often U89 tomb in prfr s, but the Korby was always a capsule that was even better) I have the t trs tonn rsultat and fell in love with this microphone. My preferences are for singing between 251 and U67 U47 but sometimes the rev works well for voices that have a high medium pronounced. The U47 is quite dark while the U67 is extremely open. The 251 however is round and trs "veloutquot; (if that means anything
but all the same open. I use the C12 primarily for strings and for now it ' Fidler is the sound of the instruments that I recorded. Also, if you have one of the microphones (251, C12, U47 U67 o) Korby can "tune" your microphone capsule corresponding pr brother !!!!!!!!
Having thus 4 type 4 capsule and its very practical to accommodate DIFFERENT types of equity and the quality is always by appointment.

The only inconvnient: its price. But compared to the original ... Finally .. you know the music ..
I am happy to have made this choice, it allows me to have a quality of sound recording of quality and above all adaptable to the sources in order to avoid the EQ!
