«  bite »

Published on 08/13/11 at 06:39
I have a stereo pair with different capsule, cardio M7 M8 Bi, M9 omni for large membranes and a series of small capsules membranes ranging from cardio to omnis.
I used me for voice taken on a beautiful sax and lately I've dubbed the amp electric guitar piece from the bottom (of course) and I got great results.
this is a micro lamp body which supports different capsule and which has its own power supply.
it needs to heat several hours before use, I noticed optimum sound after 4-5 H heating.
on vocals gives many medium and that's when you go up the treble with a good EQ it becomes magic, suddenly the voice fills the space, because accuracy is gained in the high end without losing drop of biting in the midrange.
like all the microphones must be put in a position to see if it is suitable to the voice you are recording. But when a voice is beautiful, it just makes transcend it.
I have also taken the folk guitars with a tape recorder and got excellent results.

NOTICE GLOBAL

for the record, I just finished the album Jazz world of a cape Verdean artist, I did all the voices struggling with this microphone, and among all the titles, there was also a recorded title with equipment low end, this title was given to mix and I recorded the voice of the singer with the M7 at the replay, impossible to mix the voice was too bitter for reports dealing instruments .. I ' I re-recorded the vocals with an electrostatic micro AT 4040 and everything is back to normal;)
I use it for 5 months
I try the microwave range and entered lamp current without being very convinced.
what I love most: the bite that does not lose when you go up the treble.
what I like least: I can not move my coffee.
