Best value:
Excellent
Designed by a luthier of great reputation (Alden) and manufactured in South Korea.
Body and mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, beautiful table Maple (Spalted Maple) .22 Frets, very good type LP sleeve.
Mechanical and golden hardware.
EMG liabilities of origin, level of sorites average, good grain.
4 Sliders, 2 micro (volume and tone)
UTILIZATION
Handle very pleasant access to treble guitars type Lp.
Good balance, but heavy guitar (mahogany requires).
Electronic side, do not worry microphones typed, neck and bridge and potentiometer progrssifs, allowing a good setting.
SOUNDS
Eu beautiful guitar for blues and rock.
Nice clean sound and the neck pickup. Nice distortion on the bridge pickup, it bites well.
But the guitar needs to be upgraded, which I did by putting Seymour Duncan (Sh2n and Sh 4) "Jazz and Jeff Beck.
Combined with an active preamp Guitarfetish home, and it really changes; guitar wakes up and fired up. The distos tear; harmonics rise.
With a tube amp is like always so much better (a Peavey Delta Blues).
As always with this type of pickups, the neck pickup is perfect in good clean and distortion, the bridge really likes that distortion, maisil really like it!
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it 6 months, I had an Epiphone LP standard + and other guitars. This one, upgraded, is much better and so much more beautiful.
What I like least: the clean sound with the bridge pickup.
The most, with this electronic guitar very punchy.
Value for money: excellent on the base model (about 250 Euros on the base model, on the internet). With both the preamp and Seymour Ducnan and installation, we approach the 550 Euros, or a comparable price with an Epiphone LP Custom, but its side, it is not the same!
