USE

She reveals her beautiful flamed maple top thinner than the CS-4 and acastillage gold is sumptuous. The rosewood fingerboard is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen: no comparison with any dry or porous rosewood, those who cling fingers or are of a brown poo not presentable.

Here, rosewood fretboard is a nice dark brown that draws on Rosaceae reflections. The touch, it is very nice and gives a good impression of having been treated with linseed oil (or other, in any case, it is comfortable).

SOUNDS

Connected, leave the microphones understand that the dip in the midrange of the CS-4 is here offset by a nice bump that enriches the signal and provides a more modern and precise sound.

In his clear, it was the pannel Les Paul observed: it sounds jazz, pop.

Harmonics shout, the woman tone occurs saturated neck pickup: forward for the 90's rock and 2000s, as it also has a say in the metal.

It lacks a little something to play with the very large, surely the time will make its case. For the price range, this is exceptional !!

No standing ... well imbalance, how much? Oh that's it ?? Less than five percent ?? Ben voila, 310 Euros expo price (instead of 370) Les Paul that sounds and is very beautiful.

Let's be clear: I am a musician and guitar collector and I like good instruments that sound while having the mouth.

Both London Burning CS-3 and CS-4 that I tried are no longer small guitars and put a big fat kick in his mouth to Epiphone. By having the intelligence to be both manufacturer and distributor, the trio of 77 at Custom avoids making up prices but this guitar is 1000 Euros minimum. It's not very big, the small defect is that I still find it a bit young ... but who knows, grow older, they may improve and give the same as the legendary Gibson copies Fender and Ibanez was doing in the 1970s.

USE

The handle is neither too thin nor too thick, I expected a handle lumberjack. AACS is acute as on all LP; but we know what to expect if we turn to this type of guitar.
It weighs well on the shoulders, which is a good sign about the quality of the instrument. Nothing shakes or vibrates when it is moving.

The mcaniques does not dsaccordent or very shortly after transport in a bag. The knob are well on their bases, they are not twisted. The slecteur is robust, even if you have a strong hand.

No finishing default. The binding is nickel, a very nice finish, it varies foction of brightness.

SONORITS

I play blues, rock, hard rock, funk see. NOHD has done everything for me.
I was able to play on a VOX AD15VT a Fender Blues Junior, and Laney LC12R. Obviously on the lamps she gives what she really was in the belly. It is bold, warm, very fit in ds that mounts the gain.

I could fault pickup just to be a bit feeble, I would have replaced a SH4.

As against the neck pickup satisfies me. To have a sound enough crmeux whether clean or crunch it's perfect. This is not the Seymour Duncan but I t quite surprised.

The sound is really typ Les Paul (G'N'R, Led Zep, Aerosmith ...).

I tried the Epiphone Standard during my period of decision, and there is not to say, they are a good notch below in terms of gear and sound.
It is excellent value for money prices, especially during (btw I sold most expensive!).
With this guitar, it was a veritable instrument without breaking the bank. This is not the Grail, but really the road, even more.
