Made Nashville TN USA.
22 frets golden microphones 490R / 498T Alnico magnet humbucker * *.
Tune-o-matic stopbar gold.
2 volume, 2 tone, 3-position selector.
Channel rounded ebony, inlaid mother of pearl & abalone.
* Grover tulips oil bath.
Body (2 sides), head & neck contours of a beautiful bending several folds (such as the Customs LP).
Logo & abalone shell on the head is very luxurious.
Engraved gold truss rod Les Paul.
Acastillage gold.
Comes with Gibson USA case (+ wider than the other boxes padded leather handle and LP!) Black reptile, white plush interior with silk flap.
Limited to 400 copies (Guitar of the week 22).
UTILIZATION
Nice round handle (between the 50's and 60's): Perfect.
Access to acute like all Les Paul.
Beautiful arched back (rare) very nice, well balanced instrument.
Easily obtained a good sound, sensitive and effective settings (Tone).
Instrument born of a coupling between the LP and the LP Custom Elegant
A little less, a rather heavy scratching anyway although his body "chambered".
SOUNDS
Sounds quite varied, from jazz to hard, Blues, Pop, Rock ... We spend a CRUCH its crystalline fatty Jazzy just lowering the volume of the microphones. Very warm and round the edge with no worries.
Its pickups are amazing, you'd think one of my ES-335 * Fender Blues Deluxe.
I love above all its depth and its présence.Gros, sustain very present!
OVERALL OPINION
Any new, I use it for several days.
His back arched fascinates me, plain sheets without any access to either the selector knobs ... These are accessible via the jack plate (+ large as the other Les Paul).
His body is also slightly wider than the others + LP.
The price is quite high given the luxury finishes and the hair of this beauty.
Guitar of the Week # 22 very successful!
One of the guitars + luxury I've seen so far, worthy of a Custom Shop!
