Best value:
Excellent
basswood body, maple top 3 +3, maple neck bolted Form C, 22 jumbo frets, bridge Tunomatic, made in PRC.
2 humbucker mounting series, 2 volume, 1 tone, a 3-position switch.
my note? - 7 -: The value for money is good, but you can find better.
UTILIZATION
the neck of the beast is easy, very easy to see the satin finish does not interfere with the movements of the hand. mass is low (lime) which limit fatigue when standing.
the heel of the guitar is fairly inconvenient for access to acute, but it is not a guitar with a set neck ... can do better on this point. LP as DC is not the best there is to play sitting
Note: - 8 -
SOUNDS
the sound with the original pickups is not unusual with a small amp, enough draft in its saturated. clean sound it's own without being fantastic.
on a modeling amp (VOX DA20), it is possible to get a clean sound, but the sound definition is clearly the pick.
on the JCM800 it goes a little better, blues crunch sound or usable, big sound drooling beyond ...
Note the original config: - 5 -
changing the pickups is another world, for a total price of around € 450 (€ 250 + guitar pickups € 160 + € 40 knobs, labor included) (2 Dimarzio D-Activator + 2 pushpull 500k + tone + 1MB capacity .22 uF)
Note custom config: - 9 - (perfection is not of this world)
OVERALL OPINION
follow me this guitar for 3 years is a good choice to start, even if it is not perfect: the finish is that of a guitar at 250 €, no more ... the varnish is of good quality, the color is beautiful (Blue Shadow) the hardware is okay, but the bridge fades a little fault of palm-mute frequent ...
good value for money.
