Set of 6 microphones dedicated exclusively to the sound recording or a battery, two overheads, a kick drum microphone and three toms and snare mics.
Also includes three clips to acrocher toms and snare.
Everything is satisfactory even if a micro tom / snare and more could be interesting (given that most batteries have three toms rock ...)

References microphones: PG56 snare / tom, kick PG52, PG81 overheads.

OVERALL OPINION

I have not much used this kit, I actually used the kit more Samson Audio 7 rooms. I still recorded an EP with seven tracks ... I was pretty disappointed overall.
What is more interesting in this kit is its homogeneity of sound. The pickups marry well overall. However, I was surprised by the coldness and lack of presence of microphones.
In fact, two PG81 overheads gave me an aggressive sound without saturation. Mics snare / tom PG56 are correct, except I think the tom where it takes a lot of sub-bass. Finally, the kick is rather interesting in the bass, but the click ("stroke" around 2 to 5kHz) was not present during my tests, and difficult to work again then. Overall I think this kit is not worth the € 200 difference with the kit parts SAMSON 7. I am aware of not having tried hard, but I tested both on the same battery and I preferred the cheaper ...
That said, live in a kit like this can always be useful.

OVERALL OPINION

These microphones shure are superb. The carrying case guarantees a good protection of the microphones.
I have the PG-81, PG-56 and PG-52 with the feet and claws on the toms.
For up to say anything, trs stable, and the clips they clip onto the toms with great simplicity.
These microphones are beautiful and make a trs trs good sound studio.Je use them since 2003, two times a month.
The price is relatively expensive all of the same, but the quality and the guarantee is shure Submitted!

It's a drum kit, so there is the bare minimum.

OVERALL OPINION

I did used once for an evening with two very distinct style groups.
The first was due neo metal and the second rock-funk-blues. For the latter, I should not combine a sound with but a set of percussion.
I tried a lot of microphones, classic models and some "exotic".
But coming to the facts: I did not like this kit. I expected more from Shure.
The micro GC is ridiculous, for the group of neo, it sounded cardboard, not nice at all. As for the CC and toms, idem. No potato, a sound fade ... FRO.
For the rock band, the darbuka and djembe were not highlighted. I got a "poc-poc" instead of harmonics, clarity. And of course no dynamic ...
Only overheads are doing a little, but they sound very showy. No round in the sound of the cymbal. I think we could have put a lid frying pan instead of Zildjan ...... We could not hear the difference .......

I'm a bit excessive, but I am very excited to see that Shure could bring to market things like that.
The value for money is not up to par. Because if you can get a kit for € 450, have to see what it is. Democratization of material: Yes. But be careful not to take people for idiots.
Better to take one or two microphones less but have a sound that respects and complies with the instruments and artists.
