Alien Apparatus presents the Alien Hand Microphone Stand, a stand specifically designed to make the recording of amplifiers easier.
According to the manufacturer, the spring-clip design fits into the gap between the amp head and the speaker cabinet to hold a microphone in position in front of the speaker, so as to make microphone placement easier. It also permits a gain of space in getting rid of any (potentially clumsy) floor stand while eliminating stage noise coming from floor.
Working with gap openings from 3/8 inch to 1 inch (9 to 25 mm), the Alien Hand Microphone Stand is available for $24.99 on the brand’s website.
