«  Midi Quest 11: handy »

Installation extremely simple. the man behind MidiQuest is very respondent to downloading any unlisted synths (which was my case ...)

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

This application turns and forget carefree therefore no fear about the cpu resource.
Load (get) & Save (put) are the main functions by simple back and forth, one backup or its patches are loaded.
Note the graphical interface of a myriad of synths and racks referenced that allows programming from their computer.
There are 3 versions, the most expensive for the integration vst / au / rtas of MidiQuest and thus instantly recall the settings of a particular synth in his DAW. Immediate registration.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this utility, call thus to archive a whole lot of old diskettes Roland (D-20) and thus save my patches banks before the drive or floppy disks are languishing. Very simple job and now rescued banks Backuped on external SD.
I also pilot MidiQuest a Roland D-50, a Korg Triton ProX and a TC Helicon Voice Work +.
Pretty quick responsiveness, it's still noon, but it works very well and it is the main thing.
Requirement to be ultra organized in bank management. The rest is really convenient: The app allows on-screen editing of all parameters, so a huge time saver, especially when the buttons submenus are temperamental with age ...
