Under WinXP, this product works great if your sound card is well suited
I used it to connect my keyboard RD-600 to a laptop to play MIDI sounds sf2 and everything goes smoothly. My sound card is a Soundblaster Live Platinum 5.1.
The product is relatively cheap with 2 * 2 MIDI
But attention to the problem of compatibility of the product under different environment than winXP

UTILIZATION

I LOG it just an item on the product I purchased my eyes closed.

Contrary to what my dealer, this product is only compatible with Windows XP and WinME.
Or bad luck, with my laptop running win2000 and there impossible to operate this interface noon.

I conducted tests on three different PCs equipped with Windows 2000 and all have the same symptoms, the good drivers are not installed. I am still awaiting a response from the manufacturer ...

So pay attention to the compatibility of this product:
WIN98 -> MIDI-HUB Phonic unrecognized
WIN2K -> MIDI-HUB Phonic unrecognized
WinME -> MIDI-HUB Phonic ok, well managed interface
WINXP -> MIDI-HUB Phonic ok, well managed interface

OVERALL OPINION

Unfortunately, I still refuse to use winXP too greedy in CPU and memory resources in my opinion for the benefits from win98.
I usually work with cubaseSX under win98 and I think it works better than the tests I've done in winXP.
So the product Phonic MIDI-HUB did not satisfy me. No updated drivers are available on their sites. Suffice to say that this product has been tested on winXP
