UTILIZATION
The handle is a treat. Rigid and a little thicker than the SR series (19.5 at nut and 23mm at the 12th) but still highway, very close with action as low as possible. IBANEZ what! And a dream to settle with the titanium trussrod.
Access to acute is easy until the 24th box.
I think the race is a factor which gives a good sound this bass.
The ergonomics of a nickel SR PRESTIGE therefore, very fine, she married the body. Against the wood by being what it is: the bass is quite heavy for a SR: about 4.4 Kgs for mine. Which is reasonable but watch your back ....
10/10
SOUNDS
This is the biggest surprise of this bass. The Ibanez basses and modern neutrals and often cold enough: There NO!
Wood vibrate all the way in providing excellent sustain: once again the handle provides a very powerful, accurate and personal. This affects the body vibration in a perfect manner.
The EQ is special but effective. I've read elsewhere, and I agree, it is difficult to assimilate but after it goes. I put 9/10 because of that because I think that could give us BARTOLINI well in view of the vacuum of this bass.
I play on a 150 and RUMBLE with 15 "pummeled it!
OVERALL OPINION
I've had a year and a half and I enjoy as always ....
No, I have not been able to try many model before but I chose the following notice and my instinct
Yes I would do this choice because this SR5005e ol is a sort of culmination of the PRESTIGE range: the height of a brand already known for its serious
