I get to a possder Tobias, a real, manufactured by Mike himself (# 1385 manufactured in 1991 USD), they actually have nothing to do with APRS The models include the taken over by Gibson.
It is composed of: Lacewood / Wenge / Lacewood and wenge / purpleheart neck.
The Bartolini pickups are specially designed and protected for the 6 string Tobias.
It is a copy of the SERIES "Signature" is a gem of violin making.
Mike makes new low under the brand MTD (Michael Tobias Design). I never touch that day!) https://www.mtdbass.com/
UTILIZATION
The handle is exceptionally enjoyable, especially for a six string.
It is not rgulier: lgrement slimmer profile to the treble.
Access in acute is easy.
The weight is pretty important. It is better to follow courses woodcutter if you want to play several hours.
The range of sounds is vast trs. The rglages effective. The treble can be trs brilliant, extremely deep bass. This dpend of selected wood.
SOUNDS
It is quite versatile in all styles.
I play on a Trace Elliot AH250 with a 4x10 "cabinet and a Green-type BEX Audio 1x18".
Ms. scnes on large, impossible to push the extreme volume. It's quite monstrous.
It can switch to active and get virtually anything you want;
OVERALL OPINION
I play since 1991, when it was released.
This bass is truly stunning, adorable, comprhensive ...
I've tried other brands the era: Zon, Wal ... but my choice is silent little prsdj before seeing.
Price is important, the order of 30 000 francs the era. (4000 approximately).
If c'tait again, I would not change anything. Nothing but happiness.
