Xav mounted on the PMC in 2010:

No batteries and simple to mount, as a condo tone.
Depending on mounting is chosen to have the effect to be back with the slider to 0 or 10.
One can also mount it on a push-pull knob if you want to have the same tone knob and black ice overdrive.
The disadvantage is that it takes microphones with a certain level of output so that the effect works. The manufacturer recommends 10k ohms minimum.
But I found it interesting to add this overdrive on microphones lacking a bit of fishing or output level, not so.
Does not work on active pickups.
