I bought mine used in the late 1980's to listen (and record) with the highest quality programs of Radio France. With a good roof antenna, listening on headphones or speakers, is to make your ears cry of happiness. A round and full, good sensitivity (and with the external antenna, no problem), and especially a very good selectivity (which was crucial in the 80s, when new stations on the FM band with power emitted crazy close to frequencies of Radio France, and drooling copiously, I quote someone, but everyone will have recognized such a station name with 3 letters ...)
It looks a little heavy, with its buttons and switches "special big fingers," but very practical about the ergonomics. The tuning dial super nice, and the settings for the meters agree and signal antenna, and so on.
Before him, I had Marantz analog (including a very handsome with integrated oscilloscope) and digital, but this selectivity problems.
At the time it was a bit expensive equipment, but now you can find at a reasonable price. And as the transmitters will transmit in analog, do not hesitate if you really want to have fun listening to stations that modulate respecting high quality sound ...
As for robustness, my B 760 rotates every day for more than 20 years, and it's always a treat.
For radiophiles fanatics, so.
