The new Wireless AudioCubes Pro are still cubes, use the same electronics and allows, as in the previous versions, for controlling MIDI parameters and send MIDI notes wirelessly.
The difference is the design of these new cubes: instead of using to U-shape parts, Percussa will now use « half boxes » molded shapes made of Delrin and Polycarbonate. The upper half is translucent white and the lower part is opaque black in order to better the reflect the color contrast on the upper half.
These changes should allows, according to Percussa, for easier manufacturing, improved resistance and enhanced lightning of the cubes.
Percussa is still developing the software part of the AudioCubes and promises that the update will be compatible with the first Wireless AudioCubes generation.
A small first batch of these new Wireless AudioCubes is available, contact Percussa to order yours now at www.percussa.com (no information regarding the price of this new version).
