Neck Material: 5pc Maple / Walnut
Neck Type: Wizard Prestige
Body: Ash body
Frets: Jumbo frets
Fingerboard: Rosewood
Inlay: Pearl dot inlay
UTILIZATION
The handle is really super nice, a must Ibanez, a small adjustment period for those who do not know what kind radius (430mm) and very flat which facilitates the speed and accuracy. Relatively massive this guitar does not mean is heavy compared with other model. His pitch to 648mm/25.5 "and its 24 boxes can get on the treble with great ease as far as the heel is ergonomic (cut and rounded edges). A cut stomach adds a real comfort, very close to the body.
SOUNDS
.. In fact it has many sounds, and therefore does not have a "real" personality "is a guitar work that goes everywhere, it has the defects of his qualities.
Both "humbuckers" brand (CCR1 & CCR2) assistant to a "switch blade" 5 position gives it a range of impressive: from big crunch to the very fat funky slamming through a few sounds very close to a Tele ( but this is not a Tele!) it recalls the shape but that's all.
On a princeton reverb is bluffing of course especially for clean sounds, a tube amp type Blackstar Artisan is great for crunches and saturated sound, but it's also here that the next "few staff.
OVERALL OPINION
I played the last few months, and it suits me to complete my series Telecaster, it acts as "all terrain" model of DAW, live, rehearsals, everything suits him, but for a typical sounds we forget .... (The 2 double maybe? Though! But above the resonances that are more "neutralized" as a Fender Telecaster and confirms its manufacturing quality impeccable.
It's definitely an EXCELLENT guitar for that with a reasonable budget, wishes to acquire an instrument of superb quality, unbeatable value for money and for a use "all-terrain".
I am not 10/10 to validate my opinion overall, although in terms of quality and finish this IBANEZ FR2620 well worth it. From Ibanez Telecaster
