I was there several years ago a "Berlin Plus". Still a great guitar unjustly neglected. P. Eggle is an English violin maker still in business. His Berlin + has something of the allure PRS, but + reduced while being as classy and very very light which surprised me a lot at the time (a luthier who examined me spoke of Maple for the body) .24 fret (for me a little too high and bulky), 2 zebra humbuckers-house

Bridge-tailpiece fixed (it is also available with Wilkinson tremolo and flamed table in a little more expensive). UTILIZATION
The handle was certainly great (I was inexperienced in settings at the time and I could not optimize timely as it should: allen wrench, etc.), very high jumbo frets but frankly m'insupportaient I knew nothing I had them replace the triangular thin as the ideal to me was the low / wide, short still wrong. It helped me make it sell because I thought that I did not handle me, in retrospect I should never have sold. It's one of my "grief" (sniff. ..) guitaristic. + Ergonomics that great, you do not feel its weight, however, is quality wood, the table is nicely rounded, I do not remember specific chamfer, but there is no need. I think it's one of the + ergonomic and light that I had. But I really do not remember most of the texture of sound.
SOUNDS
Berlin + is suitable for ANY style (see the full range and split singles 2 doubles), I played in band in the studio to rehearse and two concerts with it, its funky, clear and resolute distortion and it sounded good. I can not remember the color of sound pickups but at the time that me + tot equals the time as long as no flash or microphone and there, impeccable.
OVERALL OPINION
I did most unfortunately and I am very sorry. I would have known at the time (in the 90's) set the handle, I would have NEVER resold. I thought with malapatte, + reffrettage inadequate, it has increased the misunderstanding. Price = 5OOO or 6000 francs at the time if I remember correctly. Beautiful colors and beautiful tables, ergonomic and lightweight foolproof, a stylish look (oh, just thinking about it I entrust myself to cry, like ...) I advise those who seek style PRS also Elegant and original but much lighter + to go there, especially as Patrick Eggle + proposed models with other city names, and he would accept orders with customization.
