« Nice, pretty cheap »
Published on 12/31/13 at 06:13Made in Indonesia
Beside the Greg Bennett series, the JTR series (the name of a fat Gibson Custom Shop) is another series by Samick guitar sold under its own brand (Samick is a major subcontractor)
The handle is quite wide and rather flat (I would prefer thicker)
24 large frets, flawless finish (like all the guitar for that matter)
The bridge is a vintage style vibrato Fender
Three single-coil pickups to Strato, a selector
UTILIZATION
The guitar is light, well balanced including sitting, the handle is pleasant though somewhat flat
Access to acute is super easy
SOUNDS
The sound is honest and no more, but will not hurt to use a personal
Not blow it wrong. As the violin is nickel, as electronics that deserves it put his nose in it.
In the Moonlight, almost jazz there is pretty good.
OVERALL OPINION
The manufacturing quality report, quality of finish, price is remarkable.
It's not a great guitar, but to play cushy home she is really good
At that price I'll take two
