Luxury violin at Wild Customs, the Vichy manufacturer. Entirely handmade in France.
Here is the top most toupee. This is a configuration handle multi crossing, with carved maple top (always mano). Channel 23 cases (when you are told "custom"). Question electronics, there are two microphones, a P90 size humbucker in the neck and a double typed PAF 50's in the bridge, with a toggle switch 3p, two volume settings and tone.
For violin, was a body in two parts Indonesian mahogany, crossed by a handle multi walnut / maple / mahogany / maple / walnut, all topped by flamed maple top. Smaller, the head has received a plating layer (between 5 and ten I think) rosewood. Finally, the key is ebony. The fittings are quickly reviewed: Mechanical 3x3 Z-tuners in Duesenberg (basically it's split heads which can also function as normal), and a standard TOM bridge gotoh (replaced at my request by an easel wilkinson roller).
UTILIZATION
This is an extremely comfortable guitar. Ergonomics is virtually flawless. For once, the handle a typical profile a bit like thin "U" in ESP, but less wide (it has a coastline at Nut 40.5 mm instead of 42 mm standards. Everybody dislikes, because it is tailored to small and medium sized hands. It has excellent access to the treble.
RRhhaaaaaaa and finish ... the varnish is very special. In fact it is developed by Focal for car audio equipment, which has been experienced on this guitar (and it) varnish. It's pretty late, so the wood breathe properly, and has an extremely velvety touch (they look like ass woman ^ ^).
When the sound ... it's easy, you plug and play, and TADAAAAAAAA
SOUNDS
Well basically it is a true 4x4 that shovel. I play mainly on Blackstar HT series came and one 45, and it's great! The clean is great, nice, and the P90 is really very articulate it. It's not too crystalline, slightly thick, very authentic. Saturated, its just more bluesy or how well roots stoner. The intermediate position is more interesting light I think. We find the slamming of P90 and punch the humbucker. Moreover it is doing well on a lot of different styles. Personally I mostly play sound quite saturated, and it is really great. It has a grain a bit old, hot, a little short on slamming feel that it is a PAF like a roaring success (golden age pickups, microphones U.S. home Stewmac), with a more airy grain a bare knuckle the mule for example, at least not too compressed and with a good momentum.
OVERALL OPINION
I use since August 2013, and she became my main guitar (well I admit I a couple ESP history of not running down either).
I ended up ordering home after many months drooling over my screen. Personally, I love the finish (without throwing me flowers, I think I chose well ^ ^), and overall aesthetics of the guitar, it throws without being "have you seen me."
For me the price / quality ratio is quite correct, because the finish and construction are very qualitative materials are of good quality, and the custom shop (because yes, I could choose almost everything above, while advised by the team of Wild Customs) is relatively affordable. on the other hand I agree, it is not within reach of every budget, it is, you will not be disappointed.
