Acoustic guitar made in the USA (according to the characteristics "Official) <span class="d">
The table is solid spruce top, bottom and sides solid Rosewood
The handle 1 piece (Screwed) is Mahogany, it has 21 frets and Gotoh 500 mechanical
The fingerboard and bridge are Rosewood Madagascar, and a bone nut.
On the head, there is a great logo GUILD Vintage pearl</span>
The guitar side "violin" is really beautiful and has no defect or lack of "taste"
UTILIZATION
I played previously on a 110GB Taylor (who did not blush in terms of sound). So my advice is to "comparison" with the 110 I had before. The handle is very nice and "slides" superbly.
It is a bit wider but we made it very quickly and you end up "comfortably" installed on it!
The guitar is a standard format and locks OM rather easily. (I play on hard pick Dugain wood, bone or other)
The Guild, the sound is balanced, bass, treble and midrange are all well defined. The sustain is magical and gives this guitar, harmonic sound captivating. Each chord sounds and pick the flick of a rope adds a coloration to the agreement or the bass continues to sing during this time!

SOUNDS
<span style="text-decoration: line-through;">I try</span> I play blues, folk with a pick .... it suits me very well for that.
There are other styles of music I m'essaye and it sounds just as good.
One might regret not having the bass a little more powerful .... but it would not have been as well, side balance and harmony .... so we think no more!
She has not a grain "type" but a sound that can be enjoyed immediately.
Its sounds are "harmonious" but not necessarily neutral. It sounds simply wonderful without that we will say that this guitar is dedicate to music in particular.
We hear and we begin to imagine all sorts of music that he would go to wow!
OVERALL OPINION
I've had it about 6 months.
I tried a:
- Taylor 414 (too crystalline to my taste)
- Martin D15 (nice sound, but I had a little trouble with the handle)
- Larrivee D-09, it seems to me (great sound, but too expensive for my budget!)
- Others, but I have too little memory!
Finally, the Guild is the only one I could not test (because never in stock in local stores).
I'm tempted by a stocking on a site VPC well known on the net.
So for value for money, in my case, it is obviously very good! For me, this purchase went well: A guitar, purchased less than half the price .... nine was a gamble to buy without testing.
I do not regret my choice, as it turns out that I really like this guitar. For traditional stores, I would have probably missed because I had little chance to see a much less power in a test! (I live in the countryside ... a lot of benefits and "some problems"!)
I knew by name "Guild", but some stores have these guitars province.
I am amazed, for this model, the quality of stringed instruments and sound quality.
If my wife lets me keep my guitaremaniacodépendance to acute collectionnite .... I'd be tempted by other models Guild!
