« Yamaha FG-422 OBB »
Published on 04/02/02 at 14:00I bought this in a store in Hong Kong called TOM LEE for approx 1700$HK, so that's approx US$212.50
The reverb is really nice on this thing! And I have to say being blue color is extra pretty. And it definitely gives a fuller sound as long as your strings are kind of new...
But the sound quality is definitely amazing for the money..it beat all the other guitars in this range
I just changed my bottom 3 strings (E,A,D) strings today and it sounds a lot weaker than the dirtier string,s I dunno if thats cos of the strings or just my guitar
I think it's really good quality, the neck looks strong and it's got the extra support over what the FG412.
This was my first guitar I bought and I think it's one that'll last me. But one mistake I made was that I didnt buy a semi-acoustic guitar instead because I'd be using htis to play on shows, so I had to add my own pick up which was a bitch, so think about that one factor, otherwise if you're REALLY DETERMINED to stick to playing the guitar, the money u put in here will be worth it.
