Dangerous Music's D-Box is a dual monitoring system and summing box for either your home or professional recording studio. As far as getting an all in one box that will boost your studio's overall sound and worth go, this is up there with the best of them. I would say that it's probably best suited in a home studio where you would want to add a bit of life to your DAW based recordings. As far as the boxes' connections go, it's got XLR output jacks for two sets of speakers and for your summing outputs. It also has XLR inputs for both analog and digital signals. For the summing portion of the D-Box, it has a D sub jack. It also has a MIDI jack for DC in and a 1/4" jack for a talkback remote. On the front panel it has two more 1/4" jacks for your headphones, as well as an input for a talkback microphone. Using the Dangerous Music D-Box shouldn't prove to be very difficult at all, as most of what is offered here should be pretty self explanatory. It basically gives you to options for monitoring routing and summing on the front panel and leave it up to you to do what you will. It's also worth noting that the summing box is eight channels. The sound of monitoring through this is great and of course doesn't affect sound quality at all, but where the D-Box really makes it's money is with the stellar sounding summing box. Having eight summing inputs is a beautiful thing to have for any home or professional studio. It's perfect for adding a bit of clarity and vibrancy to your digital sound. If you're looking to add something to your home studio to help step your game up a bit, the D-Box is the perfect place to start...
