The M-Patch 4M is designed to be an all-in-one solution, providing a central hub for monitor control with mute, mixing, level-matching, headphone monitoring, stereo-to-mono summing, and talkback. Control room outputs are automatically ducked 20dB when talkback is engaged; you can use the built-in microphone or plug in your own and control it from the front panel or via a remote switch.
Like its sisters MPatch 2.1 and MPatch 5.1, the M-Patch 4M’s master attenuator features a stepped film-resistor network, . The M-Patch 4M offers both balanced and unbalanced inputs and outputs, including XLR, 1/4” and 1/8” TRS, and RCA; it can be used as either a desktop unit, or rack-mounted with the included hardware.
