Music Xray is a marketing service for musicians.
According to Music Xray, the biggest challenges for artists include 1) finding an audience for a song and 2) obtaining mass-market exposure. Their service is designed to give artists the ability to “control, optimize and present essential statistical, analytical, biographical, review and tagging information about their song within one song capsule called a Music Xray.”
The Music Xray capsule is a dynamic calling card for a song that houses the mp3 file, lyrics and artist information with all of the pertinent data about the song in easy to use modules that expand and collapse when clicked upon. Each module expands to reveal key information about a song such as its market potential as measured by computer, its current market traction, blog mentions, social network activity and soon real time monitoring of a song’s peer to peer trades.
