It'll soon be a year since I have ... I use my drumkit in complment acoustic.
SPD-6 is a small multi-use pads super simple. you can play with sticks or by hand with a lot of precision (sensitive pads VLOC range of grades quite impressive for a device 400 and not look!).

FEATURE: 113 different sounds, four notes simultaneously, only one midi out port, for example, can connect the SPD-6 has an external MIDI sound module or a digital piano to play on different patches (specific words -module or digital piano )..., said 2 inputs for foot switch (simulated charl open / closed, for example). - 16 SETTING THE prselections of pad (prprogramms and editable), each pad can be configured to play the sound you want (although fortunately!). mono output (headphones), stereo, AC adapter (6 or R6) Sun: 318 (l) 241 (p) 67 (h) mm - Weight: 1.6 kg with batteries ...
Here is a list of different sounds available. : Acoustic drum sound (soft, heavy, jazz ...), conga, bongos, timbales, wood block, bells, triangle ... sound effects such as slap, scratch, heartbeat, cry, creaking door, engine shot, animals (dogs, cats), laughing, storm ... well ... what s'clater a break with meowing and barking what could be more original?? pluss the sounds are fairly good quality (+ + + or even good for some trs)

At that price, I regret it at all, single point ngatif: shame there is not a small LCD screen, but little ...

I recommend it to drummers "pro-electronics" in order to broaden their palette of sounds, and non drummers to create their own patterns and accompany their piece as they see fit ... Having said that I had no opportunity to test other, so for comparison, go to someone else ... but I think it's the cheapest in its category.
