This opinion concerns the acoustic electric guitar nylon Prudencio Saez Model Stage Caoba. The difference with the Fresno Stage is in the wood used in the table for the fresno ash, the accajou for mahogany.
Guitar made in Spain, for a small production unit in the semi artisanal methods.
The Stage is a true electro acoustic nylon, solid table accajou background rosewood. Ebony fingerboard, cedar neck, 12 frets to the table, 21 tout.Le handle is a real classical guitar neck (at nut 49 mm, 60 mm at the table () deluxe ankle very accurate. The choice of the handle is a classic Not surprisingly for this type of guitar but obvious from the classical guitar production house.
The finish of the instrument is remarkable. Very nice violin, accompanied by mechanisms in shades and shapes, the Stage has a superb design.
UTILIZATION
Its uniqueness lies in the absence of rosette (Godin style) but yet it already sounds not connected! It is very surprising, but sound travels well in purely acoustic version of course a low intensité.Est the assembly and selection of wood? His table 5.5 cm thick? Compared to other brands of this type of instrument is the only sound that sounds already.
It is a light guitar, the lightest in the trials of this type.

use is nice, soft nylon strings, well arched neck, acute access to effective, precision mechanisms and micro settings. It is a true electro acoustic, so we can keep the initial set of acoustic (plucked arpeggios, rubbed, hit rhythm) and mix with the electric guitar

SOUNDS
The sound now! This is the highlight of the instrument! UUE sound palette very successful Depending on the settings, there really is a significant change in its giving colorations.Son several basic classical guitar very clean, a little more presence and the guitar becomes more "metal", the medium less and we are at or Ovation Adamas, a little roundness mixed with the presence and smooth jazz is here ... A touch of dryness for the blues ... etc.
I personally use this guitar to accompany a singer in different sytle and everything works! Of course not expect the heavy metal but sound can be aggressive, dry or warm depending on the settings (bossa, reggae, country, jazz, blues, pop)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for two months.
strengths: the quality of violin making, its looks, comfort, lightness, and the sound!
acoustic (very nice to not connect the night ...) as amplified
its weak point: the handle, a little too classic for my taste
I compared it with other electric guitars nylon: Yamaha (standard price), Godin
(Too expensive! And very heavy) Crafter (very good race, but sonic palette poor, no volume in acoustics)
value for money: I bought it on sale, € 600 for a price often displayed between 7 and € 800 or € 1000
The choice is made and I do it again the same, with a handle a little different if it could exist!
