«  Beautiful VINTAGE »

Published on 02/24/14 at 05:14
This guitar was made in Chicago before the 2nd World War
The bridge is ebony Martins
Doll head type Weymann sculpture floral back
The key is false nacre (MOTS)
The handle is a priori "V" as in many instruments of that era.
It is acoustic format parlor, very powerful, but well balanced.

UTILIZATION

The handle rout a little folk player because the button is flat and the classic player because it is narrow. But the game is enjoyable with "V" (more pronounced than on a L37 for example) that allows a very stable grip handle, the tip of the "V" in the crook of the thumb.
There is no notch, so past the 10th fret ... but it's not made for that.

SOUNDS

yes, blues is very nice (sounds ... Robert Johnson delta 30 years)
it's a bit sour if you do not stringed, DR Elixir or kind.

OVERALL OPINION

10 years
