«  Fabulous ... »

I use it for one week but they must have a good ten years.
I already owned a few all brands such as FBT, PEAVEY, JBL, RCF and other less well made Wharfedale, Power acoustics.
The Promann PA 230 are an old dream finally réalisé.En Indeed, I heard them in 2002 at a party in a big room and they gave me a lot impressionnées.Aujourd 'Today I have learned and I'm happy .

What I love most:
The concept dual-bass driver 38 cm, the enormous compression tweeter and sound very balanced manner.
Low-out well and the sound carries far indoors and outdoors with a rare clarity and intelligibility.
-The easy movement through the top handle and two wheels housed in the huge cutaway bottom of the enclosure.
-The weight is not so big for the size of the enclosure (1 m high, 55 cm wide and deep (47 kg).
-The strength of the coating after 10 years, I find them in perfect condition.
-The power (1000 w per column) and performance (100 dB).
-Making Made in France with high quality components and a serious design at all levels.

Cons:
-You need a good amp very powerful driver for at fair value (Ideally I would be a HORTUS AUDIO A2 2 x 1200 W / 4 ohm because the speakers are 2 x 1000 w / 4 ohm).
-The fact of not being able to carry in a car, but it's a detail as to have sound "touring", we need a truck or van.

Value for money very good opportunity for me.
In nine, the series no longer exists and it is HORTUS AUDIO which resumed production in 2003 (but I do not know if it is still in production).
At that time in 2005 the unit was costing 1010 euros.
I would do this choice because the product is rare, although the resale side and ages well over time.
