Flexion is described as a “visual sound constructor” based on a modular design. You can create oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs and other tools from malleable waves which can be altered in a complex way, morphed and more with the help of modulators and live controller input.
Flexion offers a music creation environment based on scale notes and harmonics that can be excited by the frequency energy. You’ll be able to use the crossfeed of oscillators and/or apply impulse and a 3D visual environment creates animations that reflect the perceived sound in real time.
Last, Flexion will include a community platform on which you’ll be able to download and share presets.
Flexion will be available for Mac OS X and Windows as a plug-in and in standalone version. A private beta is organized, you can register jobomusic.com/ if you want to participate to it.
